Snowlight Over Auli

I reached Auli with cold hands, tired legs and a heart that was not ready for the view.

The snow was not just lying on the ground. It was shining. Every slope looked like it had been touched by quiet sunlight. I stood there for a few minutes without saying anything because some views are too clean for words.

People around me were excited, taking photos and talking about skiing. I was simply watching the mountains. The white slopes, the sharp air and the distant peaks made me feel small in the best possible way.

Auli felt like a place where winter does not feel harsh. It feels alive. I went there expecting snow, but I came back remembering silence.
