Dodital is a freshwater mountain lake surrounded by oak, deodar and rhododendron forest in Uttarkashi. The trail from the Assi Ganga side passes through villages and camps before reaching the calm lake, which is linked with local faith and known as habitat for Himalayan golden trout.
